Salon Druknya (Druknya meaning "the shoulder of the dragon") was founded in 2005 by Tashi and Gyaltsen Druknya. They brought their rich Tibetan culture to the heart of downtown Charlottesville, where they created a salon that goes far beyond superficial beauty.

Salon Druknya is completely unlike any other salon experience. Everything, from the decor to the music, has been carefully designed to create an escape from the busy pace of life.

Our family of cosmetologists, all of whom have had extensive in-house training, work together to create a relaxing and revitalizing environment. Our signature salon experience begins with a shampoo, using quality products and a scalp massage. After your haircut, you will receive a blowout, included in the price, to create the perfect ending to your visit with us.
